This page describes the cookies and similar technologies (such as localStorage) used on blackbackground.net. It supplements the privacy policy.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text entry saved by your browser when you visit a website. It can be read again by the same site (a "first-party" cookie) or by a third-party domain that the page loads resources from (a "third-party" cookie). Cookies are used for session continuity, security, analytics and advertising.

Cookies used on this site

The generator does not set any cookies or localStorage entries of its own. The only cookies come from Google Analytics 4, which loads on every page. The site does not currently show advertising, so no advertising cookies are set.

Cookie names are those Google documents for Analytics 4; Google can change them over time.

Managing cookies

In your browser

Every modern browser lets you view, block or delete cookies. The settings are typically under "Privacy" or "Site settings". Because the generator does not depend on cookies, blocking them — or blocking Google Analytics with tracking protection or a content blocker — does not affect how the site works. Most browsers also offer a "Clear browsing data" option that removes existing cookies.

Google's tools

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

The site does not currently change its behaviour in response to "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signals. Use the opt-out add-on or browser blocking above if you do not want to be measured.

Consent

The site does not currently display a cookie consent banner, and Google Analytics loads without one. If a consent mechanism or advertising is added, this page will be updated to describe it.

Updates

This policy is updated when the cookies in use change materially. The "Last reviewed on" date below is the most reliable indicator of when this page last changed.
